EFV CHANGELOG

Change log

Document every improvement and stay up to date on EFV’s latest advancements.

  1. m3u8 downloads support custom segment concurrency; disguised ts segments can also be downloaded and transcoded.
  2. Referrer settings accept wildcard domains: *.xx.com allows every subdomain of xx.com to use m3u8 and segments.
  3. TS image disguise and random segment naming now occur before updating transcoding status, avoiding issues when cloud synchronization is too fast.
  4. Reduced verification steps for timestamp-protected TS or disguised segments to maximize efficiency.
  5. Fixed stalled progress bars on some videos when using the source frame rate.
  1. Improved WordPress export to support any theme or plugin fields. Fill video title, poster, M3U8, categories, tags and descriptions together with all theme/plugin article parameters without separate edits.
  2. Fixed mouse-selected watermark coordinates being offset in the previous version's watermark/scrolling-text removal.
  3. Fixed cross-origin failures reading posters and M3U8 URLs on some websites in the previous version.
  1. Strengthened timestamp verification of requester ip and play limits, adding a hotlink-verification toggle for TS and disguised segments.
  2. Added opening-ad burning with category bindings, placing an ad at the beginning when slicing selected categories.
  3. Fast slicing can skip high-bitrate sources: configure a threshold and transcode videos above it instead, compressing them to reduce bandwidth pressure.
  4. Rewrote cloud synchronization to fix minor issues and allow retry-count and upload-concurrency settings.
  5. Simplified batch episode addition: enter series information directly or fetch through api. Submitting creates the series and intelligently names, sorts and adds videos in one step. Demo: View update.
  6. Folder uploads categorize videos according to the folder name after upload.
  7. Folder uploads automatically prepend the folder name to video titles.
  8. Added source frame rate to transcoding options.
  9. Added hiding of title bars on poster 1 and poster 2. Rewrote numerous operation pages with simpler steps and dialogs instead of separate pages.
  1. Horizontal mirroring supports category bindings, automatically mirroring selected categories during transcoding.
  2. Added poster advertising with category bindings, burning an advertising image into the first N seconds during slicing.
  3. Video management displays poster 1 and poster 2 by default. Hovering enlarges images and exposes upload and screenshot-as-poster actions.
  4. Added Aiying CMS collection API to synchronize all video/series metadata, including tags and descriptions, through api into Aiying CMS. Timestamp protection is already integrated.
  5. Mac collection API and wordpress exports can use resolution-specific M3U8 M3U8 URLs instead of adaptive M3U8.
  6. First-frame screenshots, previously always generated, are now an optional setting.
  7. Improved pagination across pages and episode-addition logic. Added total playback and currently transcoding counts.
  1. Segment ads support custom resolution, bitrate and frame rate.
  2. GPU supports animated watermarks and simultaneous processing across multiple GPU cards. New tasks use the least-utilized card until every card's graphics memory approaches 100%, then pause task creation until memory becomes available.
  3. Bind watermarks and scrolling text to categories, applying multiple configured types only to their selected category.
  4. Randomly select watermarks and scrolling text. Set selection counts independently; each video uses 1 or more randomly chosen overlays.
  5. Added horizontal mirroring to correct some short-video camera issues or obscure randomly placed marks/text.
  6. Fast slicing generates downloadable mp4 links from the source by default; ordinary transcoding uses its transcoded MP4.
  7. Fixed image encryption affecting images disguised from TS segments and breaking playback.
  8. Improved image-to-txt conversion. With conversion enabled, original images display no content; change jpg to txt in the URL for automatic txt conversion.
  9. Cloud synchronization adds Azure Blob Storage.
  1. Downloads import posters in webpb format.
  2. Cloud synchronization displays statistics and running status.
  3. Added sidebar toggles to hide navigation for unused functions, simplifying the extensive administration menu.
  4. Added a statistics api to retrieve video, download, cloud synchronization and disk-use statistics directly through api.
  5. Minor fixes and improvements.
  1. Synchronization adds Tencent Cloud OSS and deletion-extension exclusions: when automatic deletion is enabled, files with specified extensions are retained.

  2. Improved poster imports: invalid posters are skipped, using automatic screenshots instead.

  3. Fixed poster downloads failing for URLs containing Chinese characters.

  4. Automatic seeding generates an RSS subscription URL, allowing software with RSS support to retrieve the latest seeded resources automatically.

  5. Added seeding notifications: after a video finishes seeding, send title, screenshots, preview video, magnet link and other information to the notification domain together. Third parties can import this data through their own endpoint.

  6. Galleries support individual and batch torrent seeding, integrated with notifications.

  7. Added a free, open-source resource publishing system with a RUST backend and astro frontend. Notifications integrate with automatic EFVCMS seeding to publish resource posts automatically.

  8. Added an open-source Google AI relay system. Combined with our resource publishing system, AI generates original SEO-friendly articles based on resource names during publication.

  1. Individual and batch downloads accept poster URLs alongside m3u8 and other video URLs. After downloading/transcoding, posters become poster 1 and poster 2; without a URL, screenshots generate posters automatically.
  2. Download api adds clientId and poster parameters. The poster behavior is as above. Pass a video id through remote download api; after automatic download/transcoding, the system sends that id, M3U8 and screenshot URLs by POST to your endpoint, where the id identifies the video for import.
  3. Fixed poster uploads in detail editing and other minor issues.
  1. Batch downloads support category selection, categorizing completed files automatically and creating missing categories.
  2. Galleries accept webp uploads. CMS galleries show one image per page and preload the next image.
  3. CMS home announcements rotate multiple titles; clicking displays the content, supporting Markdown.
  4. CMS removes plain-image ads and adds feed ads styled as videos across pages. Multiple ads are selected randomly for display.
  5. CMS supports self-hosted and network player ads. Self-hosted ads currently support pre-rolls; network ads must follow VAST, with display rules determined by the provider. When multiple ads exist, one is selected randomly.
  6. Added CMS player P2P settings and free P2P node configuration. Nodes are self-hosted; documentation provides quick setup.
  7. Changed cms resolution rules: ordinary users and guests use the lowest resolution; members' selected resolution is remembered for subsequent videos.
  8. Every CMS page supports previews: hovering over a poster for more than 0.5s plays the generated preview.
  9. Fixed verification failures for m3u8 with a key when previews and timestamp protection were enabled, and missing notifications when cloud synchronization stopped. Details: View update.
  1. Fixed edit submission timeouts after linking a series in automatic rss downloads.
  2. Added filters for successfully synchronized videos and batch clearing of synchronization records to synchronize again to other destinations.
  3. Added custom transcoded video frame rates.
  4. Batch skip segment ads: selected videos omit all opening/mid-roll ads, with skipping reversible at any time.
  5. Improved and restyled built-in CMS pages and simplified member-group settings. Demo: https://www.leimulamu.com/
  6. Built-in CMS supports batch free-video settings, bypassing permissions and allowing anyone to watch; reversible at any time.
  7. BT management can clear download records to download BT magnets again.
  8. Long video titles are abbreviated in management, with other minor improvements/fixes.
  9. Mac CMS users needing timestamp protection can replace files with the already integrated downloads in documentation.
  1. Improved automatic downloads with custom concurrency and polling/start intervals.
  2. Fixed scheduled route changes continuing after deleting a route with scheduled tasks.
  3. Fixed automatic transcoding failing to reenable after disabling it in the latest 2 versions.
  4. Fixed app members receiving previews despite membership when previews were enabled in the latest 2 versions.
  5. Fixed category display on scheduled-task pages.
  6. Added a cache refresh toggle to manually refresh M3U8 and other cached data when settings do not take effect immediately.
  7. Improved cloud segment synchronization to avoid occasional instability from overly aggressive synchronization.
  1. Mid-roll ads support occurrence counts, randomly showing the configured number of advertising videos during playback.
  2. Simplified downloads, removed unstable options and improved related behavior to minimize errors.
  3. Added automatic download monitoring: pending tasks are detected and started without manual activation.
  1. Improved segment ads using Amazon's streaming-ad approach. Opening/mid-roll ads can be added and randomly replaced, resolving earlier compatibility issues across PC, Apple and Android. Encrypted segments also support these ads.
  2. Segment ads integrate distribution routes, reading advertising files from a specified domain.
  3. WordPress export supports choosing a specified image as the player's poster.
  1. Added batch WordPress import of poster URLs, M3U8, categories, category tags and video descriptions into WordPress.
  2. Improved ip filtering to avoid blocking the operator when filtering is enabled without entries.
  3. Fixed download errors caused by double-encoding already encoded URLs in downloads and remote-transcoding api requests.
  4. Details: View update.
