EFV CHANGELOG

Change log

Document every improvement and stay up to date on EFV’s latest advancements.

  1. Fixed occasional startup failures in multiuser FTP uploads.
  2. Rewrote audio management with audio M3U8 slicing and an api to retrieve all audio data.
  3. Website management accepts any port when binding domains.
  4. Fixed playback issues with distribution routes and segment ads after fast ASS watermark replacement.
  1. Every step of fast ass watermark replacement supports GPU; without a GPU, processing uses CPU by default.
  2. Added log output for all video transcoding operations for easier inspection.
  3. Synchronization supports files and data involved in on-demand ASS watermark replacement.
  4. Improved some api endpoints.
  1. Added fast ASS watermark replacement and removal without changing M3U8 URLs. Built-in api endpoints add, update and delete ASS rules; existing ASS watermarks can be removed at any time.
  2. Fixed retranscoding failing to merge M3U8 with a key file.
  3. Improved M3U8 previews and timestamp protection compatibility.
  4. Data retrieval returns video and series management data together, with page, category, search and time-range parameters.
  5. Other minor improvements and adjustments.
  1. Rewrote multiple-position/time-range watermark and scrolling-text removal for GPU transcoding, scaling removal coordinates adaptively to resolution.
  2. Transcoding and downloading can start N tasks concurrently for faster processing.
  3. Improved M3U8 excel exports for specified categories or all videos.
  4. Fixed subtitle mismatch during multitrack transcoding.
  5. Fixed cloud uploads to Azure Blob Storage failing.
  6. Added automatic notifications after cloud synchronization, immediately sending m3u8 and related information to the specified domain once video synchronization completes.
  1. Added category-specific processing preferences: prioritize transcoding or fast slicing for selected categories, supporting mixed workflows.
  2. Added scheduled Mac cms api collection, automatically importing m3u8, posters, tags, descriptions and all metadata from resource sites or Mac CMS into downloads, then downloading and filling video records.
  3. Duplicate-video queries add batch deletion of all duplicate videos.
  1. Subtitle burning automatically converts non-UTF-8 files to UTF-8, removing the need for manual conversion.
  2. Added subtitle filtering before burning. Subtitles need not share the video's name; when multiple files exist, progressively apply one or more keywords to select the correct file. Details: Documentation.
  3. Improved multitrack transcoding: among tracks of the same language, prefer more channels, excluding commentary, director commentary, narration and audio-description tracks by default.
  4. Fixed some series occasionally sharing a poster when collecting and downloading complete Mac cms api datasets.
  1. Downloads add retry-count settings: network failures automatically requeue until the retry allowance is exhausted.
  2. Batch M3U8 copying includes category data, with configurable ordering of poster, m3u8 URL and category fields.
  1. Added video merging across arbitrary codecs and resolutions. Completed outputs automatically enter video management for transcoding and slicing.
  2. Collection endpoints for Mac/Aiying CMS and Wordprss import add poster-domain settings, assigning a separate CDN or OSS domain to posters.
  1. Added webp posters/screenshots. The default is jpg; enabling the option generates both in webp.
  2. Cloud synchronization supports selected videos. By default all completed segments and data synchronize; enabling selected synchronization includes only videos marked through batch synchronization in video management.
  3. Added a video metadata update api: remotely update tags, categories, descriptions and other fields through api, supporting fuzzy title search.
  1. Added insertion/replacement of mid-roll ads across completed videos. Randomly burn advertising videos into the middle, then replace or remove them at any time to restore the original content without changing M3U8 URLs. Supports random selection of multiple ads and category bindings. Original sources need not be retained; segments disguised as png also support insertion, replacement and removal.
  2. Improved retranscoding to preserve all video metadata and URLs, including regenerated screenshots, preview videos and m3u8. Optionally retain original posters.
  3. Parsing endpoints support expiration after a specified number of days.
  4. Improved cloud-upload synchronization and fixed occasional series-addition failures after Mac api collection and automatic downloads.
  5. Fixed burned subtitles failing to skip along with configured opening trimming during transcoding.
  6. Fixed leftover folders after failed M3U8 downloads.
  7. Added series poster/metadata import api.
  8. Added video poster/metadata import api, with automatic series assignment and episode sorting after transcoding.
  9. Download-center api supports automatic series import, adding and sorting episodes after automatic downloads and transcoding.
  1. Improved timestamp-protected parsing endpoints with segment-ad display settings: selected endpoints return m3u8 with ads while others omit them. ip allowlists restrict an endpoint to specified ip addresses.
  2. Mac/Aiying CMS collection endpoints can expose valid data directly. When enabled, completed video/series records appear without publication.
  3. Fixed keyword removal failing in batch video renaming.
  1. Added multiuser FTP uploads. Each FTP user's videos enter video management automatically, supporting automatic categories, poster import and subtitle burning.
  2. Improved retranscoding: use the source if available; otherwise merge existing m3u8. Choose whether to delete the old video and categorize automatically.
  3. Cloud synchronization supports series posters. Added one-action clearing of video/series synchronization records to resynchronize everything after changing storage.
  4. Multiple download proxies are used in rotation, prioritizing available proxies that have been idle longest.
  5. Improved operation details on several feature pages.
  1. Server imports automatically add prefixes. Create an import subfolder named rename followed by the series title and place episodes inside. Imported videos gain that title prefix: 01 becomes Series Title 01, and 02 becomes Series Title 02.
  2. Download settings accept multiple proxies, prioritizing an unused proxy for each download.
  3. Mac api collection can target the latest N days, configure multiple collection api sources, and improve duplicate filtering and category selection.
  4. Fixed preview generation failing for extremely short videos.
  5. Other minor additions and improvements.
  1. Mac CMS download imports now create complete series metadata, including posters. Once episodes finish downloading and transcoding, they join the specified series and sort by episode number.
  2. Batch episode addition no longer requires equal digit widths: 1, 10, 100 or Chinese equivalents and mixed naming formats are recognized, converted and sorted automatically.
  3. Poster downloads support retry counts to avoid network-related failures.
  4. Mac/Aiying CMS collection adds ip allowlists, allowing only specified ip addresses to retrieve video and series information.
  1. Timestamp protection adds an ip verification toggle and multiple json parsing endpoints for third-party integrations.
  2. Downloads import all video metadata from Mac CMS collection endpoints, including posters, tags, categories, descriptions and actors, then transfer it to video management after download without reediting.
  3. Downloads add concurrency and network-proxy settings; use a proxy when network conditions cause failures.
  4. Other known minor improvements and fixes.
