Multi-audio-track transcoding, screenshots before or after transcoding, and app gallery search, favorites and cdn switching

This is a straightforward update. Transcoding now supports multiple audio tracks, and screenshots can optionally be taken before transcoding. Enable or disable this according to your needs. For the APP, galleries now support search and user favorites, and users can switch their cdn delivery route to a different cdn network.

Transcoding

  • One: Multi-audio-track transcoding. When enabled, the system detects whether a video contains multiple audio tracks, such as Cantonese, Mandarin, English or German. It then creates separate transcoded videos using each audio stream. For example, an mp4 containing Mandarin, Cantonese and English tracks produces Mandarin, Cantonese and English versions of the same video in video management.
  • Two: Screenshot-before-transcoding switch. When enabled, screenshots use the source video's resolution and original bitrate before transcoding. When disabled, screenshots are taken after watermark and scrolling-text removal and transcoding. Choose the setting that suits your needs.
  • Three: Added search to gallery management.

APP

  • One: Added gallery search through the search button in the upper-right corner. By default, only members can use it.
  • Two: Added gallery favorites. A heart button appears at the top-left of the gallery poster; tapping it adds the gallery to My Gallery Favorites. This feature is available only to members by default. Nonmembers are prompted to activate membership before using it.
  • Three: Added CDN route selection to the account page in the app, since cdn networks can experience issues. Users can choose different CDN routes; after switching, a different CDN server supplies posters and related resources.
