Built-in CMS rewritten with clappr and P2P replacing dp, administration improvements, and automatic first-use registration in the landscape APP

There are too many changes to list completely, and I did not record them all. Here are those I remember, mainly for the built-in CMS, landscape APP and administration features. The built-in CMS now fully supports Chinese and English switching, including /cn and /en prefixes in url links and multilingual titles, descriptions, categories, tags and tag groups for series and videos. See the demo site. The entire built-in CMS has been rewritten with a redesigned UI and homepage. It supports portrait and landscape posters by changing two parameters without restarting. The dp player has been removed because dp had numerous issues and had not been updated for a long time. It is replaced by the internationally well-known clappr, with P2P integrated into the playback page.

Updates

Built-in CMS

  • One: Full Chinese and English support, including distinct url links, series and movie titles, descriptions, categories, tags and tag groups. Almost every text element across the frontend supports Chinese and English switching. This required substantial work, but the result is excellent. If English video information has not been provided, the English frontend displays the Chinese information until it is added.
  • Two: The built-in CMS is almost completely rewritten, with a new UI replacing the masonry layout. Portrait and landscape posters are both supported; changing two parameters applies the setting without a restart. See the screenshots or demo.
  • Three: Removed dplayer from the built-in CMS because of its many issues, replacing it with the frequently updated, internationally known clappr player. Built-in P2P can ideally supply 90% of traffic through the P2P network. It is free and includes a public p2p node, or you can deploy your own node on a server at nearly 0 cost.

See the built-in CMS update on the demo site: Visit. 95% of homepage video information has English content; videos on other pages do not yet have English information.

Landscape APP

  • One: On the first visit to the APP, users who are not signed in automatically receive a registered account. A dialog displays the account and password with a copy button, helping improve retention and payment conversion.
  • Two: Updated the player plugin to the latest version, fixing fullscreen crashes on some Android 12 and HarmonyOS phones.
  • Three: Replaced slide-to-unlock launch ads with animated text prompts.
  • Four: Increased recommended-video titles below the player from 2 lines to 3. Two recommendation modes are available: entirely random or matched by a tag-based algorithm. Users can choose as needed. This avoids identical recommendations on every playback page when tags have not been entered.
  • Five: Fixed a gallery APP interface error caused by an incorrect poster.

EFV

  • One: Both detailed and simple editing now allow screenshots to be selected as posters. A built-in lightbox gallery shows full-size screenshots for selection as poster 1 and poster 2.
  • Two: Fixed outro-trimming filename handling.
  • Three: Added shortcuts from galleries and videos to folder management for their corresponding paths, allowing all files there to be managed.
  • Four: Added multi-video selection in video management to create a series and add videos to it. Series are useful but were cumbersome to manage; this makes the process simpler.
