2019-12-25 Christmas EFV update: m3u8/MP4 downloads, scrolling-text templates, cloud storage and intelligent slicing

During 2019 months 10 and 11, I focused on the app and next-generation CMS, so Advanced received fewer updates. In month 12, I spent considerable time refining its features and adding many more. All users are encouraged to update.

Updates

  • One: m3u8/mp4 downloads. Enter m3u8 URLs or direct mp4 links for automatic batch downloading, with 10 concurrent processes. Completed downloads appear automatically in the video library, ready for watermark and scrolling-text removal.
  • Two: Scrolling-text templates. Configure personalized text, then select videos and assign a template in the library; burning it in is handled automatically.
  • Three: Added intelligent slicing and improved previews. With segment-duration settings, it can produce a single TS 100KB segment at 720P 800 frame rate, as described in this update.
  • Four: Added broad cloud-storage synchronization with a stable rewritten queue. Supports Amazon S3, minio, Qiniu, Alibaba oss and Upyun. Outputs synchronize automatically; local segments can be deleted afterward and cloud segments used through distribution settings.
  • Five: Added protection against downloaded-segment merging. The application hosts TS files instead of nginx hosting ts, controlling browser-extension and software assembly of m3u8.
  • Six: Further transcoding-logic improvements.
