Why EFV encrypts its core source code

Encryption protects our work from theft. Before month 8, every program we sold was open source, resulting in copied programs being resold widely. After month 8, I added simple light encryption, slightly slowing redistribution. Recently, people have again started decrypting the code, so I want to explain.

Why only light encryption?

At my development level, encryption that is impossible or very difficult for users to crack would be relatively straightforward. However, heavier encryption affects efficiency. For everyone's benefit, I chose basic light encryption that collects no user information. People familiar with decryption can undo it; anyone who has decrypted the source can confirm there are no backdoors. But decrypting and redistributing it is harmful to both sides. If it spreads widely, I lose motivation to develop features, leaving users with old functions and technologies, which I do not want.

Please use licensed versions, which offer the best efficiency, fastest updates and best service. We do not sell programs; we provide VIP service.
