Anti-hijacking watermark ads video player
Protects against mobile browser hijacking, and supports remembering playback, splash ads, pause ads, pop-up ads, text watermark, image watermark and scrolling text ads
Development Purpose
Currently, when we need to watermark addition videos and add scrolling text, we must transcoding burn them in. A single video often takes several minutes or even longer to process, which not only means slow processing and a long launch cycle, but also heavily consumes server CPU/GPU resources, ultimately causing server costs and O&M pressure to rise sharply.
EFV parsing video player fundamentally avoids this pain point. It requires no transcoding processing of the video at all; you can directly instant segmentation. watermark and ads are all rendered and overlaid in real time by video player on the playback side, achieving "upload and use, second-level switching of playback". The server no longer bears the heavy transcoding rendering work, greatly reducing hardware costs and processing time.
At the same time, to address the current problem that many HLS video player are easily hijacked, redirected, or have their playback content replaced in mobile browser environments, EFV video player has specially implemented anti-hijacking measures to ensure the playback environment is not tampered with; and compared with some video player on the market that cripple features for compatibility protection, EFV video player 100% retains all native video player features(such as memory playback, resolution switching, etc.), without sacrificing any original experience due to added protection and watermark capabilities.
Feature Description
- text watermark, image watermark, and scrolling text ads, rendered in real time with zero transcoding. watermark/copy is overlaid in real time by video player on the playback side; the position automatically fits the video frame, and both landscape and portrait videos adapt automatically. The effect is equivalent to burn-in, but no transcoding processing is required for the video; scrolling text supports custom copy, position, and color, scrolling horizontally from right to left in a timed loop.
- Splash, pop-up, and pause ad slots can be enabled as desired, with pop-up and pause styles benchmarked against mainstream video
APP. When the playback page is opened, a splash ad can be displayed in full screen; during playback, pop-up ads can slide in at scheduled times; when paused, the video automatically shrinks to display the ad. All support configuring display duration, interval, and click-through link; the pop-up and pause interactions are consistent with mainstreamAPPsuch as iQIYI and Tencent Video, making the experience natural and unobtrusive. - Anti-mobile-browser hijacking, ensuring the playback environment is not tampered with. It prevents third-party browsers from redirecting, replacing, or hijacking playback content during playback.
- supports
HLSdouble encryption hotlink protection. Once enabled, m3u8 videos must go through this video player or integrate decryption logic yourself before they can playback, effectively preventing video resources from being downloaded or pirated. - supports memory playback and progress bar thumbnail preview. The next time users open it, it automatically locates the last viewing progress; when dragging the progress bar, the corresponding frame thumbnail can be previewed in real time, reducing repeated trial and error and improving the viewing experience.
- supports external subtitles and adaptive multi-resolution switching. It can mount
srt/ass/vttsubtitles; if multiple resolutions transcoding exist, video player will automatically detect them and support manual resolution switching.
